“It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:13
Join us at Celebrate Recovery on Friday, October 16 when we will share the Sanity lesson and complete our teaching of Principle 2: Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him and that He has the power to help me recover. In this principle we come to believe that a power greater than ourselves can help us recover – can restore us to sanity. The word sanity in this context means that, as a result of admitting our powerlessness in Principle One, we can move from chaos into hope in Principle Two. Jesus alone can restore order and meaning in our lives – He alone can restore us to sanity!
We could all use a little more sanity in our lives – we hope to see you on the 16th when we learn of some of the gifts we receive when we come to believe that our true Higher Power, Jesus, has both the power and the will to restore us to sanity.
