“’My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you.’ So I am very happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can live in me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
This verse does not say IF, we are weak, but WHEN we are weak. It assumes we will be weak. Most of us would rather consider ourselves strong. Bragging about our weaknesses is not on OUR agenda. That’s the “American Way.” But it is not Jesus’ way. If we are strong and have it all together, what need do we have of Jesus? If we are not able to admit our weaknesses, where is the basis to understand grace or talk to anyone about our faith in Jesus? Join us May 6th as we take another look at GRACE. Once we really comprehend our weakness and God’s grace to us through forgiveness in Jesus, we can begin to learn to extend that grace to ourselves and others, even when it is really hard.
