“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Through the recovery process we allow God to recycle our pain by allowing his fire and light to shine on it melting down our old hurts, hang-ups and habits so they can be used again in a positive way. They are recycled to show others how we’ve worked the Celebrate Recovery Principles and the 12 Steps, with Jesus’ healing, to a solution and how we’ve come through the darkness of our pain into Christ’s glorious freedom and light.
We hope you will join us on Friday evening, October 23 when we will enjoy a once-every-so-often pot-luck dinner at 6pm and at 7pm be blessed to hear a Celebrate Recovery testimony of a CR participant whose life has been changed by God’s healing, “recycling” power.
We hope to see you then!
Our weekly schedule:
6pm – dinner (pot-luck)
7pm – large group (Activity Center)
8pm – small open share groups (issue & gender specific)
9pm – dessert & coffee/Solid Rock Café
***Celebration Place is meeting this evening***
