I thought to myself, I would love to treat you as my own children! I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land—the finest inheritance in all the world. I looked forward to your calling me, ‘Father,’ and I thought you would never turn away from me again… My wayward children, come back to me, and I will heal your hearts.
Jeremiah 3:19, 22
Our recovery can’t begin until we realize how desperately we need our Father’s love and provision, which are both available to us in Jesus Christ. It’s possible that we’ve repeatedly been sober for a season but that we’ve once again relapsed. Wherever we are right now, it’s time to come home. Once we turn around to take those first steps, God’s son, Jesus, will run in our direction, thrilled at the opportunity to join us on our return journey.
We hope you will come to our meeting on Friday, August 7 when a member of our CR family will share their own story of surrender, repentance and amazing hope with all of us. We cannot wait to meet you and hope to see you then!
Our weekly schedule:
6pm – dinner
7pm – large group (in the Chapel)
8pm – small open share groups (issue & gender specific)
9pm – dessert & coffee/Solid Rock Café
