“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”

Revelation 12:11

We hope you will join us on Friday evening, October 18 for an awesome CR testimony.  Every other week we are blessed to hear a beautiful recovery story – after receiving so much healing and freedom in our own lives, we give back by sharing our experience, victories and hope with others.  Testimonies bless the giver and the receiver.

We hope to see you then!

“Happy are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

We hope you will join us for our meeting on Friday evening, October 11th, when we will share the wonderful Celebrate Recovery Lesson on HOPE. In the first CR Principle we admitted we were powerless. Now in the second CR Principle we come to believe God exists, that we are important to Him, and that we are able to receive God’s power to help us recover. It’s in the second principle that we find HOPE!

6:00pm – dinner
7:00pm – large group meeting
8:00pm – small open share group meetings (gender & issue specific)

Friday, October 4th, 2019 – David S.

“No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.”
Luke 8:16

On Friday evening, October 4, we will hear from David S, a member of our CR family. It will encourage your heart and is a wonderful, hope-filled recovery story of a life of addiction surrendered to God that is now a life of freedom, joy and service to others. Please join us on the first Friday in October and be blessed by Dave’s story. Then join us week after week as together we walk our individual roads to recovery hand-in-hand with the One who saves and heals us from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups, Jesus.

Friday, September 27th, 2019 – Powerless

“Problems far too big for me to solve are piled higher than my head. Meanwhile, my sins, too many to count, have all caught up with me and I am ashamed to look up.” Psalm 40:12

We hope you will come to our meeting on Friday evening, September 27 when we will share the Powerless Lesson and continue our work on Step 1/Principle 1. If you have ever even considered attending a meeting, now is the perfect time to start because our curriculum year has only just begun.

Principle 1 Prayer:
Dear God, Your word tells me that I can’t heal my hurts, hang-ups, and habits by just saying that they are not there. Help me! Parts of my life, or all of my life, are out of control. I now know that I cannot “fix” myself. It seems the harder that I try to do the right thing the more I struggle. Lord, I want to step out of my denial into the truth. I pray for you to show me the way. In Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.

See you at a meeting soon!

Weekly Friday Evening Schedule:
6:00pm – dinner
7:00pm – large group meeting
8:00pm – small open share group meetings (gender & issue specific)
9:00pm – Solid Rock Café (dessert & coffee fellowship)

Friday, September 20th, 2019 – A New Year

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
I John 3:18

We hope you will join us for our Celebrate Recovery meeting on Friday evening, September 20, when we will hear another beautiful CR testimony. The honesty at CR stands out and is never more impressive than when a fellow participant shares his or her story. After we work through the 12 steps and 8 CR principles, God helps us write our story and then gives us the courage to share it. If you’ve never heard a CR testimony, you are missing out and, if you have ever contemplated checking us out, now’s a great time to do so because it’s the beginning of our 15th year!

Weekly Friday Evening Schedule:
6:00pm – dinner
7:00pm – large group meeting
8:00pm – small open share group meetings (gender & issue specific)
9:00pm – Solid Rock Café (dessert & coffee fellowship)

Friday, September 6th, 2019 – A New Start

“Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor.” Mt. 5:3

“I know that nothing good lives in me, that is in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.”

Rom. 7:18

Friday, September 6th, is your opportunity to begin the curriculum year with CR. How many of us have things we’d rather not notice or think about? How much do we think those things are influencing our choices and behavior? These are questions we will consider.

Our weekly schedule:
6pm – dinner
7pm – large group (in the Chapel)
8pm – small open share groups (issue & gender specific)
9pm – dessert & coffee/Solid Rock Café

We regret that we cannot offer child care at this time.

Friday, August 30th, 2019 – Testimony

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17

. . . I no longer regret my past because God has used it to bring me to where I am today. Although I revel in being a new creation in Christ, the Lord in his infinite wisdom has used and continues to use the vestiges of my brokenness to give others strength and hope. By his grace I now have the privilege of giving back by serving in Celebrate Recovery. I was wrong: I truly am “one of those people.” And I thank God for that fact every day.*

We hope you’ll join us on Friday evening, August 30th when in large group we will all be blessed to hear a Celebrate Recovery testimony of another life that’s been changed by God’s healing power. We’ll be blessed to have you and you’ll be glad you came.

Our weekly schedule:
6pm – dinner
7pm – large group (Chapel)
8pm – small open share groups (issue & gender specific)
9pm – dessert & coffee/Solid Rock Café

No Childcare Available

Friday August 23, 2019- Lesson 25: 7 Reasons We Get Stuck

Friday the 16th we’ll have lesson 25 in the CR curriculum, which is the last lesson for the year (we go by the school calendar)

If you’re new, it’s a great time to start CR because in a couple of weeks we’ll begin all over with Lesson One.

On the other hand, if you’ve been with us throughout, please know that this does not mean we know it all, or that we are cured.  Recovery is a process of spiritual growth, and learning to apply the BIBLICAL principles of recovery, which really are the gospel of Jesus Christ, to our lives every day (theologians call this “sanctification”).

Recovery is not just a CLASS where we get a certificate of completion if we attend all 25 lessons. After doing all the lessons we may have a better understanding of the gospel and have made progress in coping with our “hurts, hang-ups, and habits”, but we still have much to learn about God, others, and ourselves. And we still must put it into action every day. The Road to Recovery is always under construction.

This repetition is not just for repetition sake; it is an opportunity to uncover the next layer that our compassionate God wants to reveal to us as He molds us into who He created us to be: dearly loved sons and daughters.

Weekly Friday Evening Schedule:

6:00pm – dinner

7:00pm – large group meeting

8:00pm – small open share group meetings (gender & issue specific)

9:00pm – Solid Rock Café (dessert & coffee fellowship)
